Conditions of Hire

Hire Period
The minimum hire period is 4 weeks. The weeks are calculated as consecutive periods of 7 days, commencing on the day of delivery. Part of a 7-day period at the end of the hire is counted as a whole week. Hire will continue until the chamber has been despatched back to James Technical Services.

Hire Rates
The rates for the equipment are as set out in the quotation. All prices are ex VAT. Periods of extended hire will be at the discretion of JTS and must be accompanied by an official purchase order number. The hire charge may be subject to change where the hire period is extended beyond 6 months. In the event of early termination of hire, any outstanding hire charge for the remaining hire period as stated in the customer purchase order will become immediately payable. 

Payment
The payment for the initial 4 weeks and the delivery and return charges are due with order. Thereafter invoices will be issued on the first day of the next 4-week period payable within 30 days. Failure to comply with these terms will result in termination of hire. The initial payment will be for 4 weeks. + delivery & return carriage.

Responsibility
Whilst the equipment is in the possession of the customer all responsibility for the correct operation, and any loss or damage to the equipment will be the customer’s responsibility. In the event of prolonged hire (i.e. over 12 months) the equipment must be returned to JTS premises for service at the customer’s expense. The customer is responsible for packaging and despatch of the chamber for return to JTS at the end of the hire period. JTS will arrange the carrier for a mutually convenient collection time.

Validity
60 days from quotation date, subject to availability.

E & OE

Agreement to the above terms must be included in official purchase orders and supersede any other terms and conditions unless by written agreement.
