Welcome to our new Managing Director

Many of you will already know that we are transferring our Company to an Employee Ownership Trust and, as part of this transition, we are delighted to welcome David Hunter as the new Managing Director for JTS Ltd. With an engineering background, David has many years’ experience in senior management roles across a range of small and large businesses.


We are on target for the Transfer to be completed at the end of March. Glen James will be continuing in his technical capacity, Gillian Byrne will be staying as a Director of the new structure, while Sue James moves to the Trustee Board.


David started with us on 1st March. We are very much looking forward to the new dynamic that he will bring to the Company and to the team, and are confident that the future for JTS, as an Employee-Owned business, is assured.

Maximising test load capacity

An issue faced by many customers is how to achieve the most test capacity without impacting on chamber performance. Putting the maximum test load in and still achieving even distribution and stability is a challenge when building bespoke equipment.  Airflow is key and having a good understanding of how a customer will load their product ensures the best results are achieved.
